How to add a Spanish keyboard on iPhone

Short answer
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard and pick Spanish (Spain, Mexico or Latin America). Then, in any app, tap the globe key to switch. To type accents or ñ, hold the letter and slide to the one you need. If you want your English turned into Spanish, add a translator keyboard like Swaytype too.
Add the Spanish keyboard

Open Settings
Go to General > Keyboard > Keyboards.

Tap Add New Keyboard
Scroll to Spanish.

Pick your Spanish
Choose the version you want, like Spain or Mexico. It's free and built into iOS.
Switch between English and Spanish
Tap the globe key under the letters to go to the next keyboard. Hold it to see the full list and pick one. To remove a keyboard, go back to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards and tap Edit.
Type accents, ñ, ¿ and ¡
- Hold a, e, i, o or u and slide to á, é, í, ó, ú or ü.
- Hold n and slide to ñ.
- Hold ? or ! for ¿ and ¡.
