The app itself is in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish and Turkish, and on iPhone also in German, French, Italian, Romanian and Hungarian.
Only the text you tap Translate or Improve on is sent, over an encrypted connection, to be rewritten, and it is not stored. If you choose to help improve Swaytype, examples are kept for up to 365 days and you can delete them anytime in Settings. We never sell what you type.
On iPhone, a keyboard needs Full Access to reach the internet, and Translate and Improve need the internet. iOS shows the same warning for every keyboard. Without it, Swaytype still works as a normal keyboard. Android has no Full Access switch: you turn the keyboard on and pick it.
